Research and development

Coastal Physica provides research and development in spectroscopy, optics, and physics across a wide spectrum spanning x-ray, ultraviolet, visible, and infrared wavelengths.

Services include the conceptual design of complex optical instruments, prototype assembly and testing, experimental data analysis, and instrument performance  modeling using custom computer programs.

Spectroscopic instruments have been developed for laboratory and spaceflight applications including high-resolution studies of laser-produced, solar, and ionospheric plasmas.
